As a leader in an educational organization, you will make hundreds of decisions, sometimes in a week.
If you are clear on your personal mission, all of those decisions will be aligned and will help create a culture that not only enriches you but also enriches those you serve and work with.
I think of this as the “Mirror, Mirror” precept. Once you make a decision, can you look yourself in the mirror and ask, “Did I make the best decision for those involved?”
If you answer yes and feel good about your decision, you are aligned with your personal mission statement.
