Leaders Grow Leaders, That's What We Do

So when I think of who was responsible for my growth as a leader I can pinpoint a few people who have helped shape me into the leader I am.

In my book, I talk about Ed Feldstein, my department chair when I was a social studies teacher. He was the first person who gave me a chance as a teacher. He was always positive and made me believe things about myself that I had never before believed. I learned that the energy you put into people will come back to you in many amazing ways. I knew then, that in order to be a great leader you must first love those you lead.

I was just wondering, when you think of a leader who impacted your life in a positive way... Who was it?

Reply to this blog post about that leader. We want to hear all about them.

Who was he/she?

How did he/she make you feel?

What did you learn from him/her?

What lessons will you take from him/her in your own leadership journey?

In friendship, love and leadership,
